«Spiritual books» of civil typographies in a second part of XIX century in Vologda

Abstract. Materials of the biggest libraries and archives of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Veliky Ustyug e.t.c., reconstructing the spiritual and art life of the Russian province through the civil books of the second half of the XIX century in Vologda. The working version of the card index (most of the publications are «devisi») shows statistical and thematic analysis of the books. Editions of the Vologda typographies show their importance as a historical source and a source of book culture of the era.
