On the place of information and communication technologies

in the activities of teachers of the Komi ASSR

Abstract. The author of this article looks back on the bygone history of the twentieth century and shows how ambiguous was the attitude of the teaching community of the Komi ASSR to the process of introducing information and communication technologies in their daily activities.

Keywords: the dictates of technical improvements; aesthetic upbringing of the schoolchildren; the backlog from the newest achievements of science; familiarity with the experience of the Soviet teachers; the creation of the office of technical training; interactive communication of teachers; the transfer of students of the Polytechnic knowledge; application of information technologies for spiritual and moral development of the individual.
