The notion “LIFE” in the Russian lexical mind frame

Abstract. The article is devoted to the description of the concept "life" in the Russian lexical mind frame. Citing extensive material from contemporary journalism and modern literature, the author describes the conceptual content of the concept "life", its paradigmatic, syntagmatic, and derivational relations. Through conceptual analysis author reveals national and cultural specific features of the concept "life" and its conceptual metaphors.
