The camp and the tent: profane and sacral space

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of artistic space in Nenets literature. In the process of textual analysis of the profane and sacred space of traditional for reindeer herders the camp and the tent (of skins or bark), the specificity of their perception, both by authors and heroes, is revealed, semiotics mythology is revealed. Presented is how sustainable geocultural images affect emotional experiences, the moral choice of heroes.
The authors have defined methods that convincingly prove that fiction allows reconstructing ethnographic substrata, on the one hand, and on the other hand it contributes to understanding ontological and phenomenological foundations, connections, cultural reminiscences, reveals the features of the material and spiritual life of the Nenets, values that determine the behavior and character of the people , his world outlook.
