Borrowed vocabulary with semantics 'swampy place' in dialects
of the European North of Russia: borrowings from the Nenets, Komi,
Volga-Finnish and Turkic languages

Abstract. The article is devoted to borrowed lexemes nominating swampy areas in the dialects of the European North of Russia. Borrowings from the Nenets, Komi, Volga-Finnish and Turkic languages are analyzed. The revealed complex of lexemes is interpreted from the point of view of the origin of words and their semantic connections.
