Peasant’s private law acts of the XVI century in the fund

of the Yarenskaya prikaznaya izba

Abstract. The article is devoted to the publication of documents that existed in the peasant environment of the European North of Russia in the 16th century: spiritual certificates (testaments), deeds for land, business (documents fixing the division of property). The presence of such documents testifies to the existence of private ownership of land among the northern treasury peasants. This article is a continuation of an article published in the number 42 of the scientific journal “Historical and cultural problems of northern countries and regions”.
