Actual issues of ethnological expertise

in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

Abstract. The practice of the ethnological expertise in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is considered. Based on the analysis of the conducted expertises, the advantages of ethnological expertise were identified, the aspects necessary for improvement were identified, the main directions for increasing the participation of indigenous peoples of the North in the expertise`s procedures were outlined, recommendations for improving the legislation on the ethnological expertise were given.
