New documents on the history of the Komi region of the XVI century in the funds
of the Archive of the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Abstract. The archive of the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences (the former archive of the Imperial Archaeographic Commission) contains a large body of documents of the XVI - XVIII centuries related to the Komi region, collected during expeditions to the north of European Russia, and, including, to the Komi region. Part of the documents of the XVI century, exported from the Komi region, was published in the XIX and XX centuries. This article publishes documents that we discovered and copied while working in this archive. A selection of published documents includes acts (royal letters) and office documents.
