Folklore in the poetry of V.I. Lytkin

Abstract. V.I. Lytkin, a world-famous, European-educated scientist, linguist, poet, founder of the Finno-Ugric philological science, proved to be a great master, creator of original works in the Komi language with literary treatment of plots, motives, images of the Komi oral folk poetry, fairy tales and legends. He, with his creativity, proved that Komi folklore is diverse and deserves the widest propaganda.
