Evidence of the feat of the people: documents of the
Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
on soldiers called up from the Komi ASSR

Abstract. The text is dedicated to showing the most massive documents deposited in the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and displayed on its websites “Memory of the People” and “Feat of the People”: Firstly, these are documents of military transfer points where teams of fighters were formed to send them to a further duty station. Secondly, this is information about irretrievable losses during the hostilities. Thirdly, these are the award documents of the heroes. Fourth, these are hospital accounts. Fifth, this is the information of the military registration and enlistment offices, which they collect after the end of the Great Patriotic War in order to clarify the fate of the called up and missing soldiers during the hostilities. The documents shown by us constitute a huge corpus of sources for many years of study and popularization of the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
